Contact Us
Tell us the appliance and what it is doing, and we will tell you what happens next.
How can we help?
Do you have a broken appliance?
Book it online through Schedule Service, or call (855) 214-0378. Call before the middle of the day and the appointment is usually the same afternoon.
Do you need to change or cancel an appointment?
Call (855) 214-0378 and quote the address the visit was booked to. There is no charge for moving or cancelling a visit before the technician sets off.
Do you need to understand your bill?
One price includes the part and the labor together, and it is agreed with you before anything is taken apart. If a line on the invoice is not clear, call and we will read it back to you: every part carries its number, so it can be looked up.
Do you want to know whether we provide service at your address?
We work in thirty-one cities across California, Florida, Illinois and New York. The full list is on the Service Areas page, and there is no travel charge inside the ZIP codes named there. If your street falls just outside one, call and ask, because the town next door is usually on the same route.
Do you want to know whether we handle your brand?
We service twenty-four manufacturers, from Whirlpool, Kenmore, GE and Maytag to Thermador, Wolf, Miele, Liebherr and La Cornue. Each one has its own page under Brands We Repair.
Do you need to know what is covered afterwards?
Thirty days on our labor, written onto your invoice, plus whatever warranty the part itself carries. The terms are set out on the Refund and Cancellation Policy page.
Do you want to reach us by email instead?
Write to noreply@searsappliancepros.com. Mail is read the same day during opening hours. Tell us the brand, the model number from the plate inside the door frame and what the machine does when you run it, and the reply will be a great deal more useful.

Describe the problem
Which appliance, whose badge is on it, and what happens when you run it. Detail here is what turns a reply into an actual answer.

Two numbers worth finding first
The model number cuts the call in half. It is stamped on a rating plate, and where that plate hides depends on the machine: the frame the door shuts against, under the kick panel, the side of a drawer runner. The second thing is what the appliance actually does when you run it, including any code on the display and the exact point in the cycle where it gives up.
Who answers the phone
Somebody at the shop who works on appliances for a living, rather than an agent in a call center three states away. Tell them the brand name on the front, the model number if you can reach the rating plate, and what the machine actually does when you run it. Those three answers usually determine which parts the technician brings with them.
The appointment comes with a two hour arrival window rather than an open ended day, and you hear from the technician by phone or text before they set off.
What a visit runs to
Between $150 and $450 for a typical repair, part and labor together. Nothing appears on the invoice that you did not approve at the table first, and there is no travel charge anywhere inside the ZIP codes named on the service area pages.
When it will not wait
Some problems should not sit in a booking queue. A refrigerator that has climbed past 40 degrees, water spreading across a floor, a burning smell from a running dryer, or a breaker that trips every time an appliance starts: call instead of booking online and say so as soon as you get through, and the call is moved forward in the day.
Gas is the one exception to all of that. If you can smell it, leave the building and ring the gas utility first. We come afterward, once the line has been made safe, and there is no charge for the call you had to cancel.
