Service Areas
Thirty-one cities across California, Florida, Illinois and New York, each with its own page.
Thirty-one cities across four states, and an appliance does not age the same way in any two of them. Three streets from the water in Manhattan Beach or Sunny Isles Beach, salt settles onto a condenser and a refrigerator starts running without ever switching off. In the Chicago collar the same refrigerator is fine and the dishwasher is not, because water that hard puts a shell on a heating element inside five years. In a Yonkers row house the dryer duct runs three times the length the manufacturer drew, and in an Aurora garage an indoor rated freezer spends January being asked to do something it was never built to do.
Each city page below names the neighborhoods and the ZIP codes we reach, and sets out what that particular place tends to do to a machine. That is not local color. It decides what the technician looks at first, and it is the reason a Santa Monica call and a Downers Grove call can begin with the same sentence from the owner and end at two entirely different parts.
There is no travel charge anywhere inside the ZIP codes listed on these pages.

1 Streets and neighborhoodsWhy households here call us
Same day and next day slots
Reach us in the first half of the day and the appointment is normally that same afternoon, arranged inside a two hour window instead of an open ended wait.
Trained on your brand
Our technicians work across the twenty-four manufacturers we list, and hold the EPA certification that sealed system refrigeration work legally requires.
Thirty days on labor, in writing
The labor is warranted for thirty days and the part for whatever period its maker gives it. Both appear on the invoice before the technician leaves.
One price, agreed in advance
Testing first, price second, work third. Nothing is opened up until you have heard the number and agreed to it.
The parts that really give out, on board
The vans are stocked from our own service history rather than a generic list, which is why roughly three repairs in four finish on the first visit.
An independent shop since 1956
Seventy years across four states means we know what salt air, hard water and an unheated garage do to an appliance before we open it.
